April 2015 Activity Weekend
Our first weekend was a real success enjoyed by all.
The RIB was put to good use rescuing a capsized kayak. Despite a very cold lake Suze and Alisha coped well and laughed about it after.
Mick had to cope with two flooded open canoes but managed the shore first! The lake whipped up some big waves .
Refreshed by lunch we ventured out on RIB Out For A Duck to motor up to Wrae Castle for fun on the adventure playground. Here the weather settled and the sun came out.
Sunday saw Tandem biking on the Keswick cycle way. We now have nine tandems and two solo bikes which means we can all cycle at the same time.
A big thank to Sophie, James, Mick and Dan who joined us to help as front riders for the day.
